View Full Version : Punkbuster Won't let me play but I have it. plz help

hello I can't play on servers with punkbuster but I have it and it's updated (I have used punkbuster earlier). It kicks me after I join a game http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif plz help me

Do you use any tweaks or hacks? That would do it! or if you altered any game files! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_confused.gif

I don't use any hacks in MP. it kicks me because it said I have 0 minutes or something like that.

Have you forwarded your ports? If you're unsure how to properly forward your ports, go to Portforward.com (http://www.portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/routerindex.htm) select your router model, rainbow six vergas, then follow the on screen instructions...
If you've done that and you're still haveing the problem, it MIGHT be your AntiVirus or Firewall blocking the PB connections...

well the firewall isn't a problem and on Call of duty 4 it works just fine.

ok that didn't work. I think that the problem is that my normal user doesn't have premission to write somewhere because it work on admin user

ok that didn't work either. The error message is this:
YOU'VE BEEN KICKED BY PUNKBUSTER:
you have been kicked via punkbuster (for 0 minutes)
...RESTRICTION:inadequate O/S Privileges

I'm not sure if this is the problem, but try logging on to your PC with an administrator account instead of a user account?
Alternatively, go into your punkbuster.exe properties/compatability, check "run as admin," OK. Not sure if this will do it for ya, but it's worth a go... first option's probably better though...
