there was 4 books also released that put a half decent story to it. thats where i got flyn tagart from hes the space marine in the doom books.

This looks like a weak movie, I'm sorry, but it looks like all it has is the rock going into some ugly, gloomy metal facility and shooting the bad monsters.
If these characters are 1 dimentional cookie cutouts and all the film has is spectacals and oneliners which is what it looks like, I can only pray The Halo movie will be the much better polar opposite alternative.

Although if it turns out to be half decent, I can see it on my psp, maybe.
