For those with nothing better to do, follow the link to a group of Hurricane's scrambling from their grass field. This is part of a little BoB sequence I'm doing. It's just the take-off (minute and a half) so don't get too excited.

The movie is in MPEG-2 format (DVD ready) but it's compressed pretty hard so unless you've using a DVD RW I wouldn't waste a disc.

This was captured with a camcorder so the audio is from the game. I do suffer from some of the sound problems so there is a little crackle in a few places.

The movie is going to be a fictional account of an American Hurricane pilot similar to CH3 in "Piece Of Cake" without the part in France. I plan to add in an interview with the pilot (my old man) somewhat like a "Wings" episode. Dad was only 8 years old in '40 and, even worse, he looks damn good for his age. Oh well, he's still the oldest guy I know that won't be able to weasel out of doing it.

I-16 vs 109E is without any doubt the funniest IL2 movie I have ever seen.

Oh man that hurts. Of course, that was before I replaced the 18lb springs in my Cougar stick with 12lb springs. Without any trim, it was pretty hard to control the nose with those massive springs. Carpal tunnel syndrome and my desk didn't help either. Since then I have built a custom rig for my game machine. Check it out at...

I'm sorry buddy, I didn't want to offend you in any way, but you have to admit that the clip is very funny http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

At least I didn't throw words at you like : Newbie, Noobie or Suck ... (those words should be banned by the way) I respect all players, good or bad. But the clip is funny because no matter how many passes you did on the Bf-109 you weren't able to bring it down and finally after a long fight, it crashes on the ground by itself.

What do you mean "...crashes on the ground by itself"??? That pilot was obviously seriously wounded by my accurate gunfire and was unable to control his aircraft. I didn't want to upset anyone so I removed it from the video, but I could hear him screaming in pain and begging for mercy several times as I repeatedly overshot him.

No worries mate, you can't offend me. Fortunately I don't give a rat's a$$ what any of you punks think of me or my skills. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

BS,
I downloaded the codec just a couple of weeks ago from the DivX site so it should be up to date.

I read in another thread that someone's DivX codec was porked when they installed the Nemo codec pack (it includes a DivX codec). I believe their solution was to uninstall both and redo the DivX.

Hope this helps.
