No NPC Voices

Just got the game, installed it, started single player, walked down the cat walk and there are no NPC voices in the briefing

eventually my character will say something is response to an inaudible comment from an NPC

I have the lastest pacth, is this a common issue? and is therea knwon fix?

If you have already checked all options in the settings menu, then I would try reinstalling the game.

I reinstalled and its still like that, only its all sounds other than those coming from my player

so no gunfire or anything
