Hey guys,

I purchased the game regardless of what I read in the message board, but since I played the demo, I knew there must be a patch coming out. This seems to be an extremely quality oriented game - and I've played alot of sims. Also, I spoke with UBIsoft, and they did say they are currently working on a patch (specifically for Win98 users). In the meantime, does anyone have a work-around to stop the "crash to desktop" when jumping into the cockpit (and yes, I am a Windows 98SE user)? My system specs are: Intel PIII 1GHz, 512mb Ram, GForce4 Ti 4600 (w/ 128mb Ram), SoundBlaster Live! -- I did, however install the game on my D:\ drive, I would think that doesn't matter. Any suggestions?

you should probably post your dxdiag text so hunter82 can have a look at it.

Should I post the entire dxdiag text (it seems to be a pretty large file)?

yes, the whole lot. head over to the tech forum. hunter has a thread going there. just reply in it with a describtion of the problem and then cut n paste the complete dxdiag.
