Console Level Editors

I bought Far Cry: Instincts for my XBox a few years back, and was very pleased with with the level editor. That said, it (like the game itself) fell miles short of the PC editor due to the obvious reasons of limited hardware and, just as important, limited input with an XBox controller.

I, for one, would be more than happy to buy a usb keyboard just for my 360, if a Far Cry level editor supported/required it. Anyone else?

I doubt that MS and sony would let that happen. I think the best option is to download mods from the pc. There should be a good map editor though.

i think for consoles they should incorperate a way to create levels with an editor on your computer, and then transfer them to your xbox 360 or ps3 hard drive.
