I just started playing conviction again to try out the new maps and it seems like no one's playing infiltration anymore! I know a lot of people didn't like it because of the extra cameraqs and hordes of lasers, but it's the only challenging mode in conviction (aside from last stand, which can be freakin impossible sometimes).
So I was just wondering if anyone still plays infiltration or if I'm justextremely unlucky and can never find a match?

I only played it in deniable ops because I was sick of noobs always messing me up. After I beat all the maps on realistic, I stopped playing it. Besides, it's completely unfun. It basically just limits your path around the map and makes it so you have to annoyingly check your sonar every five seconds. I'd rather just play hunter stealthy and have total freedom.

Well if you are so pro.. go play infiltration without gadgets(that means no goggles) and only use hand to hand takedowns and in realistic difficulty....for me this is not unfun.. it is very fun and this way push my limits because i have to be always stealthy and act carefully cause one single mistake and mission over....

I've done it. It's still not as fun as the freedom hunter offers.

I agree that hunter can be fun when played stealthily, but more often than not when I play online the other guy just runs in and guns everyone down, which you can't do in infiltration.

I personally rarely play Conviction online, and when I do it's never Infiltration. If I mess up, I don't want someone else's game to be ruined (very selfess, I know ;D) but it's even worse when someone either A) Uses the deagle (it's happened many times to me. They just dont understand.) or B) Runs straight through lasers or infront of a camera and blames me for it, despite the red arrow plainly telling him theres a small army running his way. That annoys me more than anything else.

You also don't need sonar to find the lasers. You can hear the lasers regarding the proximity of how close you are getting to. Plus you can look at the wall, where it has a tiny little object that projects the laser.
When that laser projector moves up enough, you can crouch underneath it. If the laser moves away, take your time and walk. And don't forget about ledges, you can easily pass through lasers very easily.
Or the Chaos Theory way, grab a guard and their uniform will disable the lasers as you pass them.

Lol, I wouldn't know. I've never played this game on anything except for realistic. I literally put it on realistic the night I got it, and I've never put it on a lower difficulty. What's the difference? I think realistic is easy as hell, so I don't understand what the problem is.
