animal identification

does anybody know what that animal is?

it looks like an elephant but its smaller than a bush

They appear to be water buffalo or like animal (Fill me in their proper name).

Will be interesting to see if there are elephants in game or if its just a marketing ploy, since that would go against the concept of not using endangered species.
