I desperately need some help, i just bougth Splinter Cell Trilogy and everything went fine till i got to play...
Game usually crashes when i cross the old bridge in the beginning of the first map.
First i hear this sound "brrrrrrrrrr" which lasts few secs then it reboots the comp.
I don't know what to do and i desperately need help.
I have ati radeon x1600 XT/XL (Can't remember which.) as graphic card with newest Catalyst drivers.

Your graphics card (or CPU) may be overheating. Are you overclocking any of them?
There's a program called ATI Tray Tools that can tell you the temp of your card, and you can set the different fan speeds for different temperatures. If your card is going above 75 degrees while playing, it might be wise to set the fan to a greater RPM.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Seems that the problem went away when I reinstalled the game and and put it into the program files folder (not sure if that has to do anything with it but you never know) and didn't install the latest patch...
After i've played the game thru once i will try that out with the latest patch and hope it goes off

Tfrogs1 is correct. THat is a graphics card overheating problem.

I had exact same thing with DA.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">
