Hmm - This video on UBI past practices keeps getting deleted

Perhaps if I post it I will be told why.

I'm highly interested. People are saying all sorts of negative things about UBISoft in relation to From Dust. I've seen talk of Starforce (ah, good old Starforce) and more, so why is this video bugging them?

Let's try and find out. It's not like I'm using these forums for anything other than getting angrier and angrier about my $15. Which is funny, because it's only $15. I think the issue is the matter of principle - how can they treat consumers this way while the pirates enjoy the cracked copy? Gah!

I've reviewed the posting rules. It's my first post on the subject, so it shouldn't be spamming. No crude or objectionable content there either - definitely no bad language. It's on topic as the biggest discussion item on "From Dust" is clearly the DRM. We'll see tomorrow morning...

So true. Ubisoft don't learn. They are causing problems to their own clients. It's like a client is walking into your store and you slap him in the face.
I will never buy anything from this company. Not anymore. Right now I'm fighting for refund because of their lies.

I 'think' (not sure if it's the same one) several people have been suspended for posting that link, which is a bit odd... I suppose they've been spamming it all over...?

There have been suspension/s because of a youtube link, however it was not the one shown here.

Very interesting video, thanks. I wish I had seen something like this before buying From Dust. Maybe then I would have been convinced not to risk the pre-order. Instead I got misled and spent money on something I don't want and can't for the life of me seem to get a refund for.

If you've not already please read the sticky announcement thread posted by a member of the Digital management team. As explained in the thread the DRM is to be patched out very soon http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif
