Callsign naming convention for online play

I know this has been answered in the past, but I find it absolutely impossible to get the Search function to do anything useful, so hopefully some kind sole will give a simple answer rather than start a flame war.

I've set up two new profiles on my PC version of HAWX, and want to know what values I need to enter to get correct callsigns for new online accounts.

My existing PC account is set up as ColinJetset with identical callsign. I've added "Demon" to match my XBox callsign (and set XP and Level to match the Xbox) and "Eagle" profiles which I now want to register for possible online play.

What values do I need to enter when registering these two new accounts for online play, ideally to get the callsigns showing online (if this is possible)? I have no shortage of email addresses to use as I can create any new email address needed within my domain.

I doubt I understand correctly what you meant but your forum's username is what will be showed if you play online (Ubisoft Servers). For LAN, it is your profile's name.

Possibly. If that's the case then presumably using any profile will still result in forum username being used?

It's just that I thought I'd read that when you register a new profile for online you had to specify a different email address (no problem), but do you have to create another Ubi account to get a different online name?

I was confused by the concept of 'clan' naming and picking a clan prefix. Does this mean that clans have to register new Ubi accounts using their full clan prefix and callsign? Does this present any problem with HAWX serial numbers?

(Sorry for the slightly rambling questions - I'm suffering a migraine at the moment but just wanted to respond to you and hopefully resolve this one)

Yes, that's right with the "Online" mode. For the LAN mode, your online's name will follow your profile's name.

Sadly, yes, you have to create a new Ubisoft account.

Yes, they have to create a new account with clan prefix and username. No, you just change username and password while not changing the CD-Key and it works fine.
