Launcher stops working??

Hi, I may have one of two problems,

First I am not sure if the download was successful as it was left unattended, when I returned my system had restarted, since my system never crashes I assume this was an intended shutdown??

Second my launcher stops working every time I try to start it, I have enabled .NET Framework 3.5, but I have also tried to download and install the SP1 Patch, but it keeps crashing during the install, it gets to about 20Mb and the hangs.
Do I really need this as my system has .NET Framework 4 installed as it is Win7 64bit.

Sorry I don’t have a lot of time to dig into the guts of this problem, if anyone can help me it would be appreciated.

I too am unable to run the launcher. It starts and then a message comes up saying unable to initialize application. I too am on on win 7 64 bit with net 4.0 installed. I tried installing net 3.5 but it won't , presumably because I already have net 4 installed.

Thanks, I did think of that, but it doesn't give me the option when I right click on the icon.

I'm not convinced that it's installed correctly since the PDC-Live folder has not unzipped itself.

I think the download has been interupted, in which case according to the Q&A, i'll just have to leave it till they fix the downloader??

It was just downloading that slow, 20Kb - 60Kb.

I was just wondering if anyone had this problem and sorted it.

Shame but I may miss out on the beta.
