It was 1944, outside Bergen. We had received report of a friendly convoy up north heading south towards our motherland, Germany. Half hour later, we had a report of an enemy task force was closing, but we never thought that a sea battle was coming...
As we set sailed towards the task force to check it out, we found that it was heading to the friendly convoy! The task force was made up of 5 various DDs, and the convoy only had two DDs as escorts. Things looked grim to our supply line...

8 Merchants and only 2 DDs

One of our DD sank at the very begining, everybody had to fight for their lifes.

Fortunately, most of the merchants (7 out of 8) had installed their deck gun, there still a lifeline...

Now, all 2 escorts sank, maybe the DDs were too confident about their power, their thought the massacre could be started. But actually, things were not going very well...

The task force were now down to 3 DDs.

The reminded 3 DDs closed in.

But the convoy fought back, and fought back hard, real hard.

Surprisingly, the convoy fought very well, it may due to the stupid tactics of the task force. Although under the attack of the task force, the convoy reduced to only one small merchant but the task force now only had one DD left now!

It was one to one dual now!

Too close to aviod the deckgun of the merchant, the ending of the battle was so dramatic.

The survivor of the battle, but it might not able to get back home in this condition.
