I think I have tried everything and still no luck. 1)I have Dell Dimension 4300, PIII 1.7Ghz, 512MG RAM, GeForce 2, SoundBlaster card, Windows 2000; 20GB HD only half-full. All drivers are current; I have disabled everything I can (anti-virus, etc.). I installed to the default folder. I have uninstalled and re-installed several times. I always get the message "Urusetup.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows" etc. 2)So I go to my old computer: Compaq Deskpro EP; Pentium III 600, 256 RAM, NVidia TNT2, new sound card, Windows 2000, 10GB hard drive only half-full. All drivers are current. On this computer, I get as far as configuring the avatar, then some blank-wall-looking graphic; then, wham, crash to the desktop. I have tried every help suggestion I've found on the website. Any help would be appreciated, since I'm about to lose my mind (I not only paid $50 for the game; I paid another $100 for a new sound card with EAX and a surround-sound system in anticipation of playing Uru). Many thanks.

Hmmm... well the nVidia TNT2 would not be capable of playing URU. That's why you're having problems with the second system.
On the first sytem.. You should be able to play it. Make sure you have the latest version of DirectX (you have to hunt around for it, it's not readily available for Win2k), and have all of the latest system patches and service packs.
