Who else besides me think Bebop and Rocksteady should appear in Smash Up as playable characters? Those 2 are 2 most classic villians next to Shredder. They havn't been seen for a long time, and I think its finally time to bring them back and give the fans a chance to smash with them. There are many TMNT fans who love Bebop and Rocksteady. I for one love them. I love how they always made me laugh. So who agrees with me on this one? Bebop and Rocksteady for 2009!

I want all 4 of them as well, but bebop & rocksteady at the minimum. If not, I'm not going to buy this joke of a tmnt anniversary game.

Yes. Many fans want to see them on this game.

According to my observation, 8/10 people who have heard about this game, want Bebop and Rocksteady to appear, 2/10 hate the 80s cartoon so much, that they don't want anything to do with it, including these two characters.

I'm all up for those classic characters, and yeah Tokka and Razhar are a MUST.

Leatherhead and Slash are the second most popular demands after Bebop and Rocksteady. Tokka and Razhar are 3rd, apparently.

Don't particularly care for em, but I certainly don't mind roster space being used on them either.

Yes, along with Tokka and Razhar.

They NEED to be in this game. I prefer Bebop and Rocksteady to tokka or razhar though. They've got that whole road warrior thing going on. Plus rhino and boar is much cooler than dog and another turtle.

Aren't Bebop and Rocksteady practically the same? I know they're different people but do they have the differences to make them both there own unique character? Heck, I never seen them mentioned without an 'and' in between xD; Seems to me it'd be a waste of space with both of them in. And only one would be odd :O

How about one space for both of them kinda like the pokemon trainer, that could work.

I thought of having maybe Bebop as the character in the game and Rocksteady as an alternate costume. The Dev Diary did seem to confirm alternate costumes~

They could do them Ice Climbers style. That would be absurdly awesome.

I wouldn't mind if they were clone characters... Them being Ice Climber type? Hell no. That's ridiculous...

They'd play something like a cross between MK's Jax and Brawl's Snake. Potential moveset could include: projectiles like machine guns or lasers, explosives may also be used, and melee moves would include charging. Also, Rocksteady has a seldomly-used wooden sword.

Tokka and Rahzar can also be clone characters. As bestial characters, I see them playing more like X-Men: Mutant Academy's Beast or Street Fighter's Blanka. For projectile moves, their icey/firey breath can be used.

Rocksteady:
-Uses machine gun
-It's said he uses swords sometimes (he used a fencing sword in TMNT IV) or we could change this to an iron pole.
-Charges to attack
-Kicks a lot, and hits with the butt of his machine gun.

Bebop:
-Uses wave gun (energy waves)
-He could use a whip (TMNT IV) or a chain whip to make him more of a street punk.
-Wore a maceball and chain helmet once (TMNT III)

Those are just some ideas to separate them (which btw, they aren't really alike),

They don't have to be clones. There are plenty of things that could make them completely different. Bebop should have the chain whip, that'd be cool. I also see him as more of a punching character, while Rocksteady should charge with his horn, and use the gun in the way shinigamihedge stated.

Tokka should play very much like Bowser. He should spin on his shell causing damage. Have an ice breath attack and punch and kick. I'd actually like to see Rahzar on all fours. He'd have a fire breath attack, he'd bite, charge and have some good in the air moves as he should leap around a lot.

I think they have enough differences that none of them need to be clone characters.

I will say, when compared to enemies such as Slash, the Triceratons, Leatherhead, etc., Bebop and Rocksteady aren't at the top of my 'favorites' list. However, being that they are THE right and left hands of Shredder, this game just wouldn't make sense without them.

Ask this to yourself: Who were the turtle's main enemies?

-1. Krang
-2. Shredder
-3/4. Bebop and Rocksteady

There is, hands down, NO WAY of beating around the bush on this one.

That they even were enemies that long, seeing how incompetent they were. In the comics they would've probably died by the 2nd issue.

I know a lot of people are gonna hate me for this.

Back when Brawl was announcing characters and everybody was hoping Sonic was gonna be in it, I had high hopes for Sonic being in it at first, but then, I started losing hope. I told myself that Sonic wasn't gonna make it in. I said that ALL OF OCTOBER before he was announced later on in that month. Why??? Cuz it was October and it was s'posed to come out in December but then it was pushed back to March '08. So, now I'm gonna do the same thing I did for Sonic and say.... Bebop, Rocksteady, Tokka, or Razhar is not gonna be in the game. Why I say this for??? Because it's 20 characters. Not unless Ubisoft pulls a sneaky one and announce extra characters that's not on the site when it's complete, then yes. But since 4Kids has their brand plastered on the game as well, I expect nothing less but characters from the 4Kids shows. I'll still play the game only because it has the TECHNODROME. But other than that. That's probably gonna be the only thing that's gonna represent the 80's cartoon. I have to say this just so they can make it into the game, so don't get sipped off.

I believe Ubisoft is well aware that Bebop and Rocksteady are pratcitally the most demanded characters of all.

I don't know if it measures up to the ammount of people who wanted Sonic in Brawl, but it's still way up there.

I think I'll be playing this game definitely.. But wether I pay full price for it on release, or wait till price drops and get it pre-used depends on Bebop and Rocksteady's appearances. :P

I believe Bebop and Rocksteady will make it in. They may be a character swop slot like Zelda/Sheik. Except there is no magical transformation. Maybe just some run off the screen and new one enter type thing. I don't know, just guessing. Though I don't think they are out. Just like in Brawl, they had "heavy" characters. We really haven't had any heavies except Ultronminator and possibly The Shredder. Turtles and mutants have a long history together, and I deeply believe its not going to be done without the inclusion of several mutants.

Hey that's a great idea! If they don't want to "screw up" a character slot, they could always have one called "Bebop & Rocksteady" where you may choose specifically who to start with or not...

Then again, they are separate characters, so it's kinda pointless and would be a lack of respect to the series were they to merge both characters into a single slot. U think the 80's toon deserves a lot better than that. :P I mean, because of it we have a TMNT GAME franchise!

Well if they share a slot, then that doesn't take up extra slots and they could do the same with the other mutant dynamic duo. Zelda and Sheik did in fact have different moves, so they can still do the same with the mutants in preserving the uniqueness of the characters.

Yeah... I agree to that. I mean, as long as they're there. Besides, it would be fun to have a swappable character in this game. They can represent the franchise in a single slot. It's all it takes. Sure, they didn't do this with Night-Watcher.. but I wouldn't have liked a swappable Raph/NW character, I rather have it for these guys.

While I think these two have more chance than anyone not confirmed to be in the game I read somewhere before that the TMNT creators did everything they could too stop these two being in the 2nd movie. People could say that this could affect there chances to be in the game but I dont think it would.
