Campaign Mission 11: Webber: Sniper

I am trying to finish Mission 11 where Webber needs to help the Rainbow Team pick off the Terrorists from the roof top.
However even before the Rainbow Team starts from outside the gate; Ding gets killed by someone..
Is there something that Webber needs to do before hand.
Please help.

The way I do it is I first take out the cameras at the open yard (one at the gate and one at the building) and then I take out the guys around the fountain. I think there is one guy at the cars walking around and two guys close to the building to the right of the fountain. That usually works for me. Hope it helps.

What about mission 14 from the tower. I've been picking guys off for almost an hour...there seems to be no end. Is there something else I'm supposed to do? I thought maybe I was supposed to die there from what the cinema takes indicated. But, that didn't work either. I heard the rest of the team make it inside. So, the protection part of the mission should've been complete. However, it just left me in the tower with no way out and no end to the enemies coming.

PLEASE HELP!

Duck, I just loaded an earlier save and tried it again...and, this time it cut to a scene where the rest of the team entered the building. From there, it continued OK. If you haven't already done so...give it a shot.

Hm...well, let me post this.

I've been playing the sniper section of Mission 11 for 2 very frustrating days now. This is how I've done it (the most/best success so far).

Quick, run to the edge and take out the first camera by the gate. Swing right and take out the second camera.

There's three guys in the courtyard already, shoot them fast.

Now reload. Yeah - 5 shots, you HAVE to hit somebody/something with EVERY shot or Ding is dead within 30 seconds of the section starting.

Remember where the team was when the section first started? Look back at that spot by the gate - there's 2 bad guys there. You have to take them out fast.

That's pretty much as far as I get, as Ding gets killed (head shot?) within seconds after I get those two guys.

I've tried starting with the two guys that come across the top of Weber's view (by the big building, to the left, behind the columns). That doesn't work, because then the two guys by the gate kill Ding.

Sometimes a stray guy comes into the courtyard by the cars and head-shots Ding. If I take him out, then the guys behind the columns shoot Ding (one shot, one kill, they're GOOD, apparently, with those nasty AK-47s).

I've tried watching to see where the shots come from that mow Ding down so mercilessly, with no avail. No tracers from whomever is the crack shot.

I've tried killing every group of baddies that emerges, and STILL Ding gets head-shot into oblivion.

Pretty frustrating, and since I don't have XBL, really REALLY annoying since I am pretty much stuck and very much feeling like I haven't gotten my money's worth out of the game.

I even 'bought' the Invisibility Cheat and that doesn't seem to help at all.

Bang. Ding down. Mission over.

Then I swing round and take out the two guys coming from the gate area. I then swing round again and nail the guys approaching between the columns, from the far left of the complex.

That does not work. I've killed a guy with every shot, and I've taken out both cameras as well as 5 enemies.

I'm telling you Ding keeps getting friggin electrocuted.

My previous savegame is sadly FAR back, so I really don't want to load an old game and hope for the cutscene

I've done all you said, and even taken out an eight guy by the car with the fountain. But then Ding gets killed, and I can't see who kills him...

Good news. I just finished Level 11. It was a pain in the butt, BUT IT CAN BE DONE! (I started to think it couldn't) My advice is to follow the instructions above, but save it a few times so you don't have to start from scratch each time.

I saved it after I shot the two cameras in the courtyard and the 6 guys that come after you. Then saved the game and moved to the far left and started shooting the guys coming after the ream. It didnt make me shoot the last camera.

Since everyone in the game seems to shoot tracer rounds, zoom out and watch for when someone fires at Ding, then reload and shoot them the next time. That's what I did.

I've got as far as clearing the courtyard andf the two cameras. I can't get the third camera but do kill about three additional guys in the courtyard and two from outside the gate. I save a lot!!! Ding still get's vaporized after the third camera sounds off. I'm tired after two days of losing!!! Help

In this level you have to watch your teams backs. People comeout of the guard house, through the gate, and from behind corners. I take out the cameras well before the team gets close to them

Most important thing to remember in the sniping: People will be sneaking up behind your team. This will hapen 3-4 times.

I've slipped waaaaay over to the left of the rooftop, crouched down and shot numerous times, but no hit (yeah, I might suck with the rifle....but you should see me with the shotgun!!!! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif).

What's your advice?

Your in the right spot. Remember to use the <span class="ev_code_RED">Left Trigger</span> to steady your shots.
