big machine in mushroom and catering 3rd lever

Did anyone have any luck in getting the 3rd lever to work on this solar powered machine. i figured I would be coming back here at some point in the game to fix and activate, but I have finished the game. This age seems incomplete for this reason and for lowering the gate to let shroomie com back in, but no shroomie when machine shut down.Also I hear the small island will be a bage found online, but what about the pillars around the relto that I see in my linking book. I believe Teledahn will "expand" in Live. It did feel unfinished.

There is still story to tell in Teledahn. And I think there's more to Gahreesen, too. At least that's how it appears.
