Unless I'm wrong, this game is powered by a heavily modified version of the Unreal Engine 2.5. Why isn't this game using the Unreal Engine 3? Just wondering.
After witnessing the capabilities of the 2.5 engine in Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory, I know for sure that Conviction will be a masterpiece to stare at.

It uses a heavily modified version of the Unreal Engine 2.5 not Unreal 3 engine. That was stated a while back last year. Maybe they done so much work on 2.5 to switch to Unreal 3 after 2 years of work was too much work.

Ive never seen any proof from the devs that it uses UE2.5, people say this but I cant seem to find anything on it.

I haven't seen anything saying it either.
I actually remember some article saying it would probably use UE3.

I recall, but that's just my memory, so it could be wrong, but I though Ferland said something like improved version of UE2.5 in the Ubidays-interview-trailer-thingy...

It was stated in a Finnish magazine a long while back that they're not using UE3.
