Now I'm not a super halo fan boy or anything but there a mode in halo called infected where one team are the zombies (infected) and try to basically turn the opposing team into zombies while the none infected team basically defend till time runs out or they all become infected. I'm thinking maybe you could have a mode like this in manhunt i don't quite know how this could work out in alliance or wanted but i think maybe in manhunt at least you could have a mode like that in where one round one team try to move around the city and infect the opposing team and then vice versa in the next round now i know this would make the teams unbalanced but i think that's where the challenge is as the last member might have to start trying to survive by himself and figure out a way to outsmart the infected until time runs out now to kinda try and make it balanced certain abilities shouldn't be allowed I.E guns, knives, maybe templar (although if your paying attention the moment you see someone glowing you should just start figuring out an escape plan), possibly charge although I'm not against charge at all but might make it to easy for a zombie to turn the "survivors" into infected also you'd get certain type of bonus for certain action as an example if you were to poison someone and infected you'd get double the points or something like that well that's it for my idea if you guys or girls have any suggestions on what to add for this type of mode or an idea on how to make it work for wanted or alliance feel free to add oh p.s I'm not a huge zombie fan or anything like that and i know the zombie mode wouldn't make sense with the story but i think it would be a cool addition ya know :P

Why does everything have to have zombies in it now? http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/51.gif
But a question for your suggestion. What happens to the infected person? Are they slower? Can't use abilities? Or do they just have an icon on their heads showing their infected kinda like poison but it doesn't go away

because besides vampires and werewolf (not the twilight ones they suck) zombies rule.
i could see it working. yea zombies have no abilities but can move at a higher speed. the non infected to keep with zombie theme you can only use pistol and throwing knifes. the aiming time is slightly speed up and the reload time is halved. so there is a fair bit of killing and running from the non infected.

But zombies are supposed to be slower, not faster...unless these are new zombies I've never heard of. Plus if you only have knives and gun to use your turning the mode into something more like an FPS. Some people (like me) like and play ACB because it's different than an FPS MP

Every game should have a zombie mode no?
It would be interesting and fun no doubt.
lol but really, I think a zombie game mode in ACB wouldn't suit the game. I'm sure it would pick up the player count though, after all, everyone loves zombies :P

you ever seen a zombie movie made after 28 days later. seems that after that movie zombies when from slow sluggish to full sprint run you down to the ground the munch on your brains. and if the Resident Evil games are anything to go buy they can also operate advanced machinery so instead of running now they just drive a car hit you climb out and munch on your brains.

Zombies would really ruin it IMO.
My vote is no.

Basically have 10 people in a game. Start with 1-2 Zombies. These guys have to assassinate the other 8-9 regular humans. Each assassinated human becomes a zombie, making the the # of Zombies > humans. It's that simple, and I vote yes
Rainie

in that case why make them zombies, it could just be another team mode where if you get assassinated you join the other team. there's a word that could be used as the mode name but i cant remember it for the life of me

Does it have to be Zombies?
Maybe 2 players are Brotherhood agents, out to convert the Templar players.

it doesn't have to be zombies per say just a game mode in where one opposing team converts the enemy to join their cause

In that case, it sounds like a good idea.
People will use the skills and tactics they've picked up from being on the offense, most likely from Wanted and Alliance, and their defensive maneuvers and teamwork from Manhunt and Alliance.

I agree for zombie mode if zombies have no abilities and it starts with one random player being infected and his goal is to infect others until everyone is turned zombie.
I agree on the idea of Brotherhood agents against templars, only how does killing make you change side (should there be another way?)? Also, it doesn't really fit the idea that multiplayer is actually abstergo agents working for the bleeding effect.
And finally, I don't think it has to work like manhunt, it could be a new random player every match, maybe free to kill any ''human/templar'' player he wants, transforming him into an ''infected/brotherhood'' player as well... although I don't see how points could work. I guess it would look like manhunt after all...

1 it wouldn't be really faiR if the infected got no abilities i mean it be pretty hard to figure out who's who in a morphed group i'd say an ability like morph firecracker poison disguised would be fair for the infected/zombie this way at least they have a chance
2 this idea could also work as to way they would join idk maybe by getting killed they earned more respect for the enemy or they see the wrongs in their way i dont know if it should honestly have a plot behind i just know it be fun as a mode in which the thrill of it would be wondering if your gonna start off as the templar/abstergo agent which ever or works better or how long it is before you convert to the enemy team ya know
3 I'd say the points work as they would work in any other game mode where stealth counts more then being reckless and just charging in
all in all it's just a thought maybe ubisoft will see this post and consider it if they could figure out a way to work it out http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/88.gif

In AC1, Altair went to kill Maria Thorpe but when he found out she was a woman, he stopped.
It would be like that, but when you go to kill them, they disappear like they do after you've killed them and they respawn on your side.

This could be pretty fun. Like the infected person has Templar Vision Permanently on(until he becomes a human again) and cant use abilities and is abit faster but slower in climbing (that way if you are being chased by him you could run away if he misses the jump). Just some ideas http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

And their 'Eagle Vision' will be just like Desmonds, where the screen is dark.

Zombies: please God, no.
Assassins converting Templars: same idea, fits in the AC realm and doesn't have zombies.
Everyone wins.

The idea of infected is neat. What I don't like though is that the rounds are very short. It would be a game that ends in about 2 minutes everytime. The matchmaking wait would never be worth it.

The thing is, due to the very nature of AC:B's MP, ANYTHING can be made to fit. After all, we know (by we, the people who play the SP) that Vidic is far from stable with a healthy dose of sadistic on the side. No reason the talented writers at Ubi couldn't find a way for him to justify doing just about anything to his personal minions, I mean templar trainees.
Zombies make everything better, including christmas carols. The real problem is AC features no animations of heads exploding or otherwise sufficient gore to accompany a zombie death. The idea of zombies in a medieval setting hasn't been done in a game (at least not well), and the AC dev team is all about taking gamers places they don't usually get to go.
Side note: AC3 will probably take place in South Dakota. No pice of pop culture or media has ever taken place there. Actually, nothing has, ever.
