Stuck after fight with Beast on Wii TFS.

I have made it through the first fight with the beast that we have been following, I made it through the room below the hole in the hall, and now cannot get past the part where the poison beetles chase you through a bunch of gates. HELP!!! I am getting so frustrated with dying because I fall from hitting the red vines on a spin and get attacked with the stupid beetles.

Basically you're doing a speed run. Activate the crystals on the gates with your wiimote as you're running, and don't let the beetles catch up with you. And watch out for enemies toward the end. Hope this helps...

If you are stuck at the point of spinning on a pole and hitting the vines you can try pulling yourself up to sitting on the pole and jump from there.

You will have to notice where you take a hit from those nasty plants! See where the ground is pink around them? Those are safe spots fro m which to launch a wall run.

A tricky part is to remember which side of the wall to run to. I think the first two poison plant patches need to be approached from the left wall, the third from the right wall. So you will need to do a LOT of runs until you memorize the correct sequence of approaches to all the nasty obstacles in this race.

The hard part is at the end, where an archer will kill you if you try to wallrun towards him, & the bugs'll kill you if you don't!

Be ready to paralyze this archer "on the fly."


Also, I noticed that people are starting to post their gameplay vids on YouTube, you can try searching there if you get too frustrated.

i'm stuck on killing that beast on the 3rd time after you get him down the 1st and 2nd time need help

Run in close to beast, & slash until you see him lift his club (telegraphing his attack) then roll out of the way, 2-3 rolls in opposite direction will do it. When he stops swinging, run in & slash, roll. Keep repeating. You can ignore the beetles if you have enough health, beast will kill any beetles close to him when he swings.

Remember if you are close to him when you see his arm lift for a swing at you - roll, baby, roll dem bones!

Try to keep away from the edges, if you hang over the edge you risk getting cut down by a saw blade.

It only takes several good hits to take his health down enough to trigger the cut scene.

Use regular slash attacks, my mistake initially was to try to use an aerial jump/slash.

An important thing to prepare yourself for is when he collapses, the cutscene is an overhead view of the arena, which in stage 3 of this boss battle has four sections of different colors. Make sure to note the color of the floor of where beast collsapses. That's the color of the crystal you need to activate.

It should take only a few minutes to end this fight if you follow this strategy.
