I'm a veteran female gamer. Recently I bought Beyond Good and Evil HD for PS3. I played it without a walkthrough, appreciating the game's world. After many hours of enjoying the game, I was met with severe disappointment. The game glitched.
My partner HH got stuck in Slaughterhouse. He talks to me through the wall, but won't move. I ran through several locations on my own, hoping he'll eventually join me. To my disappointment, I had to sneak and fight alone, until I got stuck in a dead end. I can’t move any further without HH’s help. Angry, suffering and frustrated, I left the game. Thank god I didn't have a physical copy of the game, or it would fly though the window.

I didn't keep a save from before the Slaughterhouse mission. I see I need to start the game all over from the beginning. But when I think more glitches may happen on the way, I don't feel like it.

I can't believe the testers didn't notice that problem. A renowed company like Ubisoft shouldn't release a product with such a critical flaw.

PS. Pey'j is STILL waiting for the rescue, naked and lonely! And he's my favorite character.

yeah, i got the glitch myself. although i never had this glitch my original xbox version. unfortunately, it is in fact a game breaking glitch if you don't have a save prior to losing him. i didn't so i got to restart it myself as well. i love the game but i put it on hold and will probably get back to it later for the same reason: pure and utter frustration. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/shady.gif i understand it's an old glitch though that just carried over into this on. prince of persia has the same issues... old glitches not fixed in the HD remake. i say if you can stick with it and do more frequent and separate saves, you'll enjoy it. the game is quite a rewarding experience. i've played it through several times myself.

Ubi, wanted to make a quick buck! This is my analogy of what they did - they wrote a essay without proof reading it!

Don't give up on this game, it's a real gem, after all Pey'j woundn't want you to either!
