Release date for HOMM V?

I saw the release date for HOMM V for Japan is in april. Is there any date set for a U.S. or European release?

It has already been released. Go to your local wallmart and pick it up. If they dont have it on display its because they dont like you and are playing games on you.

At CD-Universe.com/games they've set the pre-orders for HoMM5 to May 3rd-2006(2 months and 2 days from now) into the U.S.A.'s markets(also shippable to Canada)

For the other electronic stores, selling games also, same month(May) in the U.S. but, could be delayed by another month(June) for Canada.

Europe is the immediate surrounding of Ubisoft and Nival. So, I expect its availability, around mid-April.

Damn....they're delaying it to the max!!! Nival and ubisoft is not the proper company for HOMM V, if they dont release it by april 3 then they wont release it until december of this year i think...they suck big time!!!

On this, they are making the right choice. Both for them and for the fan: releasing a half-completed game is the worst thing to do. Unfortunately, most publishers have been used to do that, and finish the game later with some patches if the game sold well.
On this particular matter (unfortunately they didn't listen to another very important matter, and it might cost them alot of sales), Ubi listened to the community and granted more time to Nival to COMPLETE the game, in order to release a full polished game which would greatly satisfy the fans. Maybe you'd like to get a fully bugged and unfinished game, with only part of the planned feature, just to get it a bit earlier, but then, hell, find some friend who has the beta installed, get the hotseat patch, and enjoy what the game would be if they don't take their time to complete it.

I won't buy the game, for another reason (StarForce). However, if they don't take their time to complete it, and release an half completed game full of bugs, even without StarForce I wouldn't buy it. I like to buy completed games, and on this, Ubisoft took the right decision. Had they taken the other right decision regarding their copy protection, they would have had me as a customer for this game (now they won't ever have me as a customer before a long long time http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif).

HOMM V is aproaching slowly, step by step, hiding arround the corners, because is a shy game... And you, people, are so many stearing in its direction and saying "hey, where is it? is it comming?" "look! it's there!" "where? i don't see him..." that you make the game to blush...
