Is it really the next turn?..cause the only battle thats different is glen albyn/reagan...
We can thank the triad of assault maps in north russia for this, gotta win everyone one of them or guess what, turn 44 will be the same...again...
Euros in no better a spot, even if they win wilstermarsch, again, they SPZ are magically attacking from nowhere, again, so they get nothing, again.

Colliding front lines will tend to produce this kind of deadlock.
On the plus side, JSF only managed to hold Rondane by the thinnest of margins last turn, and are in danger of losing it this turn which will see them evicted from Northern Russia.
Whether this will change the other fronts is another matter.

Rodane and Rovami air base are soooo close... one side has to win them all or we will just keep playing? Is that correct?

AFAIK, yes, a collision of front lines requires a victory on both for anything to happen.
As an added bonus to SPZ, you need not worry about the air base, just take Rondane, the air base will be captured due to isolation if you do that, no matter what the result is there.

glen albyn/reagan different http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_razz.gif, we've seen this stupid trade off at least once every 3 turns, normally every other lol
maybe if the "primary frontline rul" didn't exist, we could be pushing into north east Europe, maybe even get copenhagen and push into america from it, but nooo... that would be smart, everyone knows its much more fun to attack the Reagen every other turn just because most of our players played at Glen Albyn the day before http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif too bad Glen Albyn is our only attack half the time, so it has to be our "frontline"

at this rate the war will be over in january...2010
who was the wise guy who said 21 turns would be the average length of TOW wars? were more than double that now with no end in sight.

I think the deadlock should resolve itself if the JSF/SPZ combat in North Russia produces a result.
If SPZ push the JSF out, they may be able to flank Reagan and cause something to happen there.
If JSF push in, they'll likely get fronts opening up all over the place.
If it makes you feel any better, on 360 SPZ and EFEC have been fighting over the Matera/Thessaly border for the first 12 turns with the same sew-saw effect. Turn 13 and EFEC is finally making progress, but they look like they could be booted straight back already...

war probably would have ended by now if it wasn't for the frontline rule... but instead of it giving effective pushes, it creates single territory back and forth stalemates like Reagen - Glen Albyn and negates wins on other territories, thus actually slowing the war -_-

The back forth stalemates are unrelated to the PF rule. They mostly occur cross-borders where each faction gets support on home turf, so they are easily able to repel the attack and then counterattack landing in enemy territory, where the enemy has support etc.
Blame over-effective support if anything.
