Bruce "Willy Warhawk" Williams (7 victories) flew a number of Hellcats during his tour with VF-19 on the USS Lexington, late 1944. This F6F-5 was one of them. It was one of only a handful of 5's with the old tri-color scheme that flew in the Pacific after 1943. This skin and a couple of stories about Williams and "Satan's Kittens" (VF-19) are up on Il2skins. Link below.

Thanks. Both are on the Pacific. Top shot from offshore near Santa Cruz, Ca. Cloned out a couple of boats (bad job). Lower shot -- clouds, Pacific ocean, near the northern California coastline.
