BSOD every time i try and run Farcry2

Hi,

I cannot get farcry2 to run at all!

It will get to the dunia engine logo and then bsods on me everytime without fail.

When i run the exe the game switches resolution first which looks rough like a bad resolution, then i get the ubisoft montreal logo. followed by the dunia one at which point it bsods.

My system specs are

Windows xp sp3
q6600 2.40 ghz
ATI sapphire radeon x1950pro running on catalyst 8.10 drivers
2gb ram
audigy soundblaster running on latest drivers

I would really appreciate some help, from the other threads i have looked at the issue seems slightly different to others.

i get a Computer Restart when i open Med Boxes that have not be opend kinda sucks my whole pc just Restarts i guess we will have to wait for a patch i hate it when company's dont finish what they started

but besides that and llike 5 other glitches in the game its fun

try uninstalling your Sound Card then run it and see if its sound related
