yes you should

SoT's graphics were outstanding for 2 years, the only wrong thing about it is, that it's not next-gen. And I think that it's far better than WW or T2T (to be honest, T2T had the worst graphics in the series)

and the gameplay is just awesome. fighting system is not that good, but you can hardly find better puzzles and platforming even in todays games.

Wow, choosing not to play a good game based on graphics? http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif
And SoT graphics are way better than T2T's, that's for damn sure.

Sands of Time has the prettiest graphics in my opinion, it's all so shiney and fairytaley.
And even though you can't count the Prince's individual nosehairs, or Farah's Boobs don't quite have their own set of gravity, these characters have something most next gen characters miss:

^ what he said http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

And WHY on earth would someone judge a video game's graphics by the pictures?
SoT has the best graphics out of all three games. Play it!

Play the Sands of Time to:
-- understand the whole story
-- enjoy the graphics of a visually pretty environment
-- solve some interesting visual puzzles

Some of the fighting is challenging, but the SOT fighting system is not as mature as the combinations you used in the later games.

Enjoy!

SoT is the best there is. Naturally, you should play it.

Well Thanks for advice... http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif i agree with you guys... seriously TT has no gameplay.. just simple go through from traps to traps and no Special tricks and tactics are required... You guys will not belive this:

I completed WW in 2 weeks but TT in just TWO DAYS...!!!! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_cool.gif http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif tht shows the GAMEPLAY level of TT http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

I suggest you play SoT first. You can understand the story and it's loads easier than the other two, I remember winning fights with the healthbar intact http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_razz.gif

I;ve started playing SOT on PUBLIC DEMAND!! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif @Fabyanutz No man... I found it really irritating... http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_redface.gif there are no combos and secondary weapons in SOT.. Above all this you have to stab the dagger in order to kill sand creature http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/sadeyes.gif

and third thing is tht how shuold i save the game?? When i drink water from fountain it doesn't ask to save the game or not...

It saves automatically when you walk through special 'sand portals'...

I always thought finishing off a sand creature with the dagger was the most fun part... I loved stabbing them once they were down! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif It is such an innovative and interesting way to fight! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

No one found that more fun than me, trying it in real life, I can say that! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Saad1988, do you have a legit copy of the game? 'Cause it should ask you if you want to save the game after it shows you the vision in the sand portal.

Did you purchase the game and playing it from CDs?
On what gaming system are you playing it? PC/PS2/Xbox/... ?
Which version of the game are you playing? USA/Canada/European/French/Australian/... ?

In the Sands of Time, you must arrive at a vortex in order to be able to save the game.
At each vortex, the game will play a "vision" that may or may not give you some visual hints about upcoming challenges.
You may not save the game when drinking water. Nothing is wrong with your game.
Ubisoft created different opportunities for saving a game in the various Prince of Persia games.

You don't have the dagger yet- hence no sands yet, no vortex - that is the only place in SOT (if I'm not mistaken) in which you save without being at a vortex.

Progress further in the game and you will see what's happening http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

i have reached the place where you have a fight with the father... i think after getting dager of time and before this place there comes 4 vortex( at least 1) but none of them prompt me to save the game..

The only thing I can think of is that your controller(whatever it is) is a bit iffy and presses no before it even has time to promt or you have a weird glitch and should try reinstalling the game

I do play for Graphics but I also play because I enjoy a game, so it's both for me, the graphics and game play. POP sands of time to me has great graphics and I like the game play. However Farah needs a gun or something to help her fight. LOL
It's still a great game. I like it.

1) This forum is for generic discussions about the game.
If you have problems with the game play, you should post your questions in the forum "Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time - Hints & Tips"
at http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/6/ubb.x?a=frm&s=400102&f=893104132

2) What I would tell you there is: a sand vortex begins to appear but does not activate until after you defeat all of the sand creatures that attack you.

Enjoy!

1. Why bump this thread when it has been dead for two months? (it's rhetorical)

2. Lock this already http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif
