AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH...need help

ok, i love this game and have been playing for over a year now. i run into a problem the further i advance into the game, usually career mode sixth patrol. Triangular shapes start to appear on my monitor out of nowhere and do not disappear. needless to say , i start over and they do not appear again until about the same time. i am willing to give a qualified person access to my computer, and will compensate monetarily. i am barely computer literate, but am dying to solve this problem as i spend most of my spare time playing this god given game.

Strange, I have had the same experience in MS Train Simulator where at huge triangle covers 1/3 of the screen on one of the routes.
After driving further down the route it diasppears.

Have you tried to alter course and run the game x1024 for a while to see if the triangle disappears?<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

No, no, its not a glich or anything, its part of the game. Its like a target triangle. I just dont like it. It makes long range ships way to easy to see.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

OK it is some sort of a target marker I understand.

Perhaps you have accidently hit som key combination that have toggled it on?

Ctrl-Numberpad Del - Remove the orange marker from the ocean surface when submerged

If they're red, yellow or green and they appear in the centre of your crosshairs when targetting then they're the AoB indicators that are part of the automatic targetting system. If you mean something different you'll have to be clearer, perhaps posting a screen shot.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

I've moved this thread to the Community Help forum. Sounds like some problem with your graphics card or drivers. Do you know what graphics card you have in your PC? If so, go to the manufacturers website and download the latest drivers for it. Maybe that will solve the problem.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">
