At the start of the game Giovanni gives Ezio some letters to deliver in the first two or three missions. When you try to view them it says it would be wrong to read it. Can you ever read them? Has anyone been able to?

They obviously didn't want us to read it as it would spoil the plot early on, as Giovanni was trying to stop the templars as well and he had some "proof" of who were templars and who were not. a. They probably also used this for the player to get used to the delivery mechanic and a reason for Ezio being gone while the guards come to take your father and brothers away.

All very good points but shouldnt Ezio be bale to read them after his father is killed so he can better understand what is going on?

After his father's death? How could he read letters he'd already delivered?

So why then is it still listed in letters and saying it has been sealed and should not be opened. If you dont have it then there should be no item in the letters section

I think it's because all the letters are stored in the Animus's database as Ezio wouldn't carry his letters round with him all the time. The only reason you can't open and read them is because Ezio never opened and read them.

Maybe they'll be readable in "Brotherhood"?
