Funny thing with the realistic achievement on solo.

Well, like many others, I beat the campaign a while ago on realistic and did not receive an achievement for doing so. Two weeks later, I decided to tackle the campaign again. I deleted my cache, played offline, and when I beat the Michigan Ave. Reservoir level, I got my achievement. Now, keep in mind, I had my "tri-goggles" on all the stages in scene select before attempting the second run-through. Did anyone else get this achievement in a strange way?

My method: I beat the game originally at 7am on launch, didn't get it. So I deleted the story save file on the dashboard, then restarted and beat it again and I got it. Dunno why it worked.

I beat every mission on realistic, but not in order. I got the acheivement as soon as all missions had three dots beside them.

I'm one of the lucky ones cause I got it my on my first and only play through.

I went through on Realistic the first time but on the Third Echelon mission the game inexplicably dropped to Normal. I changed it back, but of course that prevented me from getting the achievement. It didn't come up when I went through a second time so I deleted my save file and tried again. It went smoothly then, unlocking at the end of the game.

No achievement after the first run-through, nor the second one. I have all missions in the mission select screen showing realistic completion, but no achievement unlocked.

I guess I'll have to wait for Ubi to release their update, if it ever gets released...

as ive said numerous times...no problems with SP realistic achievement but the co-op wont come up.

Huh, interesting read. From what some of you members above posted in this thread i maybe tempted to replay the campaign on realistic from the begining once more. But at present time i'm taking a break from it and get back into it later. I hope i'll get it. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif if it still doesn't then i'm there must be something i'm not doing right or maybe there's something wrong with the disc. Cool.

I beat the game on realistic on my first play through and it did not unlock.
Then my save data corrupted and I lost all trace of my single player progress (not including weapons/gadgets)

But on my SECOND play through it gave the achievement to me without a problem.
