It has taken me six weeks to finally finish Far Cry without any file changes. God, it does feel good. For some reason, I sure hate to die, and was wondering if anyone has finished Far Cry, on any leval, without dieing or reloading to avoid a death. Far Cry is by far the best game game I have ever player. I have found that when you replay the game, the AI will always through you a curve, in that, some merc or trigen will always come at you from a different direction or hide and not come out. I think my wife may not file for a divorce.

Congrats on finishing.
I think a lot of us have gone through many of the levels without dying. After you play through on realistic difficulty and then go back and play on a easier setting, its not hard at all to "beat" a level.
Time for multiplayer. Your wife may have to call that lawyer back.

Thanks for replying Fabuscoops. I donnot think that I am ready for multiplayer as yet, for I can only finish the gane on easy. I still practice every day, I have a save point right before the main encampment in Training. I then try to take out all the mercs, on challenging, using only the pistol. Sometimes I win, sometimes I lose. For some reason, I cannot get tired of this game. I am 58 years old and still love to play games. Maybe I just never grew up. Maybe multiplayer lies in the furture. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

I am only 52 but you are still not the oldest here. Far Cry has attracted a more mature player base than most FPS games because it combines tactics and strategy with classic FPS elements. It's not just run and gun.
Hope to see you online.
