Santa gave me a CH Fighterstick, Pro Throttle and Pro Peds for Christmas. I haven't gotten around to learning the Control Manager programming yet so the HOTAS is now set for DirectX mode. The devices appear in the WinXP control panel gaming device window as throttle, pedals & fighterstick. Everything seems to work as it should in MSFS2004.
I downloaded the IL 2 demo yesterday and can't seem to get the game software to recognize the peds or stick - only the throttle. If I use device manager to disable the peds & rudder, the game will recognize the stick, but the X & Y axis are reversed...down is up, left is right.
Can anyone help me get this demo off the ground?

I'd suggest you read the CH manual about creating a single device from the sum of the parts (i.e. stick, throttle and peds) which will be seen in Windows Game Controllers panel as a single controller. You can then program all the axes and keypushes through the !L2 Controls window.
My brother-in-law is flying on my gaming rig, so i can't look in the manual.

Yup - that did the trick. Thanks!
Just curious, I've heard good things about FB. Is the plane modelling & eye candy a lot dofferent than the IL 2 demo?
