Hi All,

I have been hearing a bit lately about being able to flash the Bios on the Graphics Card, Has anyone one tried it?? I know flashing can have its hazzards (not the perverted kind!) like frying the card but can it be done? I have an Leadtek nVidia FX5900xt card so could anyone through me some advice/directions!

Cheers

Keith

I've never flashed an Nvidia card. But seems here lately, every ATI card I decided to buy and use was capable of flashing to the next best video card in ATI's line up. I've flashed and re-flashed trying different manufactures bios, trying to find the one that gave me the best oc's. Never had a problem. BUT................ It is possisble to pork your card for good if you do something wrong or follow bad directions. I have heard of the 5900 being able to flash to the 5950Ultra, but unsure if that was the one I read about. Besides, flashing does little other than over clocking your card. So you might ort to oc and leave well enough alone. But if you have the $$$ to fix any major mess ups, and you want to find out how it's done and just want to use your current card as a guinea pig, GO FOR IT!!!
