I didn't vote because I haven't decided which strategy is most beneficial. I've gone back to some of the earlier cases to see how fast I could solve them, and what the completion bonus would be. So far, the most I've gotten upon completing a case is $3000. I'm not sure how that stacks up against taking the time to search every scene, collecting all the 25%/50%/75%/100% bonuses, along with whatever funds and bonuses one picks up by searching squares. My current thinking is that 100% searching is better, though it is fun to see how fast you can complete some of the earlier cases with upgraded tools and equipment. I finished case #1-1 in six and a half minutes the other day.

I do think that if you're going back to replay cases and you're searching every square, you're better off doing the earliest cases, since they have fewer squares to search but give you the same bonuses for 25%/50%/75%/100% completion.

There wasn't an option to vote for how I do it, but was interested in how people were searching.

I for one usually look obviously for the clues then I continue to search the other tiles depending on how long the processing time is, I normally try and take it to whatever quarter percent is the next marker eg, 25%, 50% etc, if I'm on scene three of a case, I will go back to the other scenes and complete those.
