Do I have to use the camera?

I was wondering if you can use this game without the camera? From looking at all the reviews for this game it seems perfect except for the whole camera thing. Many reviews say that the camera is really annoying because it will beep at you if you aren't in sync with the game, you make a little mistake, or have to take a little break from the movements. I'm also kind of creeped out about it projecting my image on the screen. If I don't have to use the camera I will definatly buy this game but if I have to I'm not too sure....

You do need to use the camera to play the game.
The game doesnt beep at you- she will just say something like "your arms arent right" and then when you correct it she says encouraging words. If you don't correct it, she stops prompting you.

Don't worry about seeing yourself on the screen- i spend the majority of the time looking at her making sure i am performing the exercise correctly, and anyway it is in the privacy of your own home!! And my thought is - if you don't like what you are seeing - then keep working out till you become who you want to be!! Nothing more motivating than that!
