heya,

I have a 19" CRT monitor that runs most resolutions on 100+ Hz (800*600 @ 200 Hz for instance). When the refreshrate is set too low (75/85Hz) the screen will get very distorted or however you call it, i believe the official term for this problem is called "tearing". I know there are programs to force/lock refreshrates but to be honest they are all **** (I've been there).

So is there a way to set the refreshrate just for HOMM5. (In most games you can fix it by typing a command in a .ini file, or giving a command in the execution path of the shortcut on the desktop) I have tried to find solutions but so far nothing. I gues this is the place to be for an answer

It depends on your video card. You can set it in your advanced settings for you gcard if you got a nvidia gf (and also you got the latest driver). I dunno for ati.
I don't think there is any option like editing the cfg's of the game or a command line.
