Just Learning...Gotta Question

First let me say I sure appreciated finding Pomaks' Single Mission Builders Guide over at Airwarfare.com. That makes much more sense to me than the game manual. So 1vs1 or 4vs4 dogfights, I see, are actually pretty easy to do. But I can't seem to figure out how to designate a chosen carrier as a homebase so you can start the misson parked on deck. Any help would be appreciated.

Pretty simple actually. Place the starting waypoint for the aircraft in front of the Carrier. Then pull down box to takeoff then click set and then click your carrier. Now you will take off from there. Then put in the way points from there as usual. You do the same for landing.

Sorry, but I must be missing something. I did what you said, but whenever I go to fly after the setup the plane just explodes on the carrier

Hey - I got it - I wasn't connecting the plane on the carrier deck with the actual carrier label. Seems ok now. Thanx.
