track playback: Null Error ?

Ok, I'm pretty new to the game overall, but why do like over 50% of the tracks I record give a "Null Error" when I try and play them back?

I'm recording missions playing an offline campaign.

did you save them as ntrk or regular . ntrk will play after patching

During the mission start recording and before the misson is done I stop recording. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Although at this point I'd say 35% work, and 65% give the null error when you try and open them. It loads everything and then right before it would play, it gives the error.
