I was in a Blade match today and I was getting raped over and over by this guy that had the triangle laser blade (yes only 1) and I had 2 moonlights on my blader and hes fast as hell i can dodge pretty much anything but he kept beating me, then my friend join in on the fight ( also with a blade AC) and we tagged teamed him a little bit and we still lost... there were times when hed kill us and he wasnt even close to me or my friend at times but he still hit us and for tremendous damage.... i sent him a message asking how he was able to do such a nasty little feat and he sent me back and I quote "youre the host and you both have BIG shadows, try to dodge more" i asked him what he meant by shadows but no reply and he left the match

Can ANYONE tell me what is a shadow and what does me being a host have to do with anything?

Im quite perplexed about all this, especially since im very good at blading (not the best but im descent) my rank sux because I dont do rank matches since its all on 1.40 reg so dont go by just my rank status

I've been told though never tested that host receives a disadvantage lag wise in a blade match. Also, shadows refer to lag copies you leave behind, but he's wrong. You're seeing his shadow, he's not seeing yours. He's moving around so quickly and possibly has a bad connection or using float\angle warps. Point being you're seeing a lag image he's leaving behind, and not actually where he's at. This is why most people hold absolutely no respect for "skilled" bladers. It's always cheap tricks that occasionally get a win.

Yeah I get told that im a noob all the time lmao
thank you for verifying and yes I later found out he was using a lag switch device and i had a few of my very skilled friends fight him and they lost as well about 85% of the time and they definitely dont lag

I defeated him by staying away tho and slamming him when he landed on the ground

Add me Kronos would love to fight ye
my Gt is in my signature
