This seems like a decent idea (and i actually just created an account to type this).

Things that it could be used for;though i think ,this should be for 5 at the most and no two repeating characters (no Naruto/Naruto/Naruto/Naruto/Neji teams)
-Special Customizable Insignia's~As in what the clan emblem is to distinguish your group from a crowd (think Halo 3-wise)
-Create your own HQ~Thats right i said it,a place where we can take the characters from the anime (hence why there can only be 5 and none repeating) and converse through chatting or using the headset
-Ranking system of course~Possibilities of this can include special symbols for those who reach higher rankers and will be lost if you lose that ranking, or new things to add to your HQ (possibly AI to fight people who may attack,more on that next)
-RTS type mode used to gain more area for your clan to control~not 100% sure how this would work exactly, this may present problems due to their only being 5 people in a clan

Anymore ideas anyone, try to be inavative and you don't have to stick to the rules i set (mainly the 5 clan member rule) but present it in a way that we can see it working

so every team is even and if a clan war breaks out then everyone has got a match up.....unless even if one clan has like 10 and another clan has a small amount and still beats the other clan i guess that would show more skill.
