Just a heads up for those who can tune in to the Canadian network History Channel[www.historytelevision.ca] Beginning Sunday morning at 11am is a full day of submarine related broadcasting. I'm already clearing space on my DVR's hard drive to make room. Included is an old black and white film which I haven't seen for many years, but remember as a cold war classic dual between a submarine and a destroyer, "The Bedford Incident." I remember it starred Richard Widmark and Sidney Poitier.

Another film I have never seen before, starring William H. Macy: "In Enemy Hands." He's the captain of an American ship captured by a U-boat. Don't know if it's any good, but I'll record it and see. Also scheduled for broadcast is "U-864: Hitler's Last Secret." Going to be nice Sunday to stay home, pop some popcorn and kick back before the tube; about 12 hours of sub films and documentaries.

Well that's me sorted for the weekend, then.
Live football on Saturday morning, Submarines Sunday, and isn't it the Sooperbowl on Sunday too?

That's the following Sunday, 04-Feb-07.

@Kaleun1961: Thanks in advance for the heads-up. I recall seeing it advertised a couple of weeks ago, though I had forgot all about it. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
