A newly upgraded multirole variant of the Su-27 will make its debut at the Paris air show June 15th to the 22nd.

I wonder if it will finish it's demo flight without turning itself into a smoking crater like so many other Russian aircraft have managed to do over the years. Hell if we can't get funding for the F-22/FA-22/FB-22 we could always hold a couple more airshows and see how many Russian birds run themselves into the ground or each other.

What kind of Su-27 will that be?

There is 1 difference in all there airshow crashes, the US pilots are always dead or seriously injured, and the Russian flightcrew always makes an awesome ejection and survives, with the worst injury ever: a bruised chin.

Yeah it's much nicer to watch the russian planes do their show. It's much more impressive shows anyway, and you always get a chance to see a crash /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-surprised.gif (I mean as long as there is no casualty ok?).

Pathetic how some of you have disrespect for one's life by expecting a crash when they have performed their act for you.

This is an all-time low in this forum.

This reminds me of idiots who watch auto racing just for the crashes.

Really, I was just reading that no Migs or Sukoi's would be attending, for fear that they would be impounded for unpaid debts.

So where did you hear that?

* You know the world is messed up when:
* The best golfer is a black guy,
* The best rapper is a white guy,
* The French are accusing the US of being arrogant,
* And Germany doesnt want to go to war.

I was at Le Bourget last saturday, and there was (and will be) no Su-27SK, MiG-29M2 or MiG-AT.
I went to the MAPO/MIG chalet and asked why they weren't there.
The answer was short: NOGA.

Two years ago, NOGA wanted to confiscate the Su-30MKK and MiG-AT at Le Bourget, but they left just in time.

Well when I zap on the tv, and there's only F1 racing or something (commercials or some stupid peace-loving animal show about the plankton, that suckz)
Then I'm looking forward to the crashes, but normally I don't watch racing, it's so boring to see people race like 40 laps, help I'm falling asleep ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ ZZZZ. /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-tongue.gif

I dont understand the problem with Noga. At Le Bourge2003, Yakovlev is not affected by the Swiss company because Yak-130 is owned by the Yakovlev company. But isnt MiG-AT and Su-30MK also owned by Mikoyan and Sukhoi companies? I think Noga targets the Russian Airforce, not the aircraft manuefacturing companies.

But WHY?!!

XyZspineZyX

Noga, a Swiss trading company, claims the Russian government owes it the 800 million dollars for barter deals that the Russians broke off in 1993.
