man i knew it. I was really hoping for some online fun with this new unique spy vs spy but hey it seeems like I can't play. Why add in such a nice feature if its going to not be online. Now i can't play it online or enjoy it, cause none of my friends even like splinter cell too much, none the less have a psp. Its a shame.

If i had to place a bet, i would say that online mode wasnt included because they couldnt get it to run without lag. Idk if anyone who has a psp uses the browser, but you notice it doesnt have that much virtual memory, and when you are playing an online game, this could considerably slow down the frame rate. I have my copy of essentials (got it today... ITS GREAT!!! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/53.gif) and i would believe it if someone told me its pushing the potential of the handheld. Why ubi included psp to psp direct link only is becuase of the fact that if someone in Japan or Europe were to play with someone in the United States or Canada, the connection would be considerably bad. With the direct link, the connection is much more reliable, hence this makes for better gameplay. From all the posts ubi has been getting about "svs sucks" they probably just wanted to put out a solid version to give the fans a taste of what the consoles will bring... they didnt want to go out on a limb here and blow the whole thing becuase of bad frame rate and lag.
Just my opinoin, what do you guys think?

okay, but this spy vs spy is only 1 on 1 games here, only 2 people in a room. If socom can do it with more people and so can many other psp games, it wasn't lag or anything. I don't get it, if they want to impress us with this new mode, make it to where we can actually play it with more people.
