Whenever I play multiplayer, there are 2-3 servers on which I can play, and about a hundred on which I can't?

I am thinking that is because of a patch or something I may have missed, but I'm not sure.

If I am right, could you please direct me to the latest patch?

If I'm wrong would you please correct me and help me out? http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Try this link (http://www.ubi.com/US/Downloads/DownloadFile.htm?dfId=907). Your right. Mostly all the server's are on the 1.3 patch also download the new DirectX 9c (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=9226a611-62fe-4f61-aba1-914185249413&DisplayLang=de).

Good luck and FRAG on!

One more thing... Make sure to get the new Maps (http://www.farcry-maps.com) other wise you will get locked out of server's that are running different maps than you. Mappack 3 mainly keep a look out for the new map pack out soon as well. Check there often okay?

Have fun!!!!

There's a couple of reason why this could be happening.

First, I've disabled hot linking to files on my site. I figure people can at least do me the favor of going through my index page where I have a few ad banners and buttons. Bandwidth is not free, but I'm making a concerted effort to avoid making it too difficult to download files. So if you're clikcing on a link on a different site that is tied to a file on my site, you'll see this behavior.

Second, disabling hot linking sometimes fails with certain browsers that mess with http protocol strings like referrer. Most the time this happens with branded IE browsers that are distributed by ISP or with download accelerators. When this happens, clicking on a link on the index page of www.farcry-maps.com (http://www.farcry-maps.com) gives behavior like you're describing. If this is the case, I'd suggest getting a different browser, like Firefox. If this doesn't work, send me an email or PM and we can figure out what's going on.
