I I just installed a NEC 3520A DVD/RW. I see that I am supposed to disable the virtual drivers to get this game to install. I disabled what I think is the VD for it but I still cant get the game to install. Can anyone help me with this task. I'd rather not have a 50$ coaster.

It isn't just the virtual drives, you can't have any burning software installed except the ****y program that comes with xp.

Is the drive not reading the disc? Are you by any chance using a laptop? What brand is the drive you installed? I had a similar problem and found that I had to disable a program in the startup options before the drive would read the disc. Refer to my post titled Blank CD?????

I have a laptop Samsung SN-324B CD-RW/DVD Drive that will let me install the game but when I click on the shortcut to play, the game starts to open a window and then quits giving me the generic windows error and "sorry for the inconvenience." It's **** that we have to deal with these types of problems...as of yet I still can't get the game to work and I plan on taking it back since this is more of a hassle than it's worth for a 50 dollar unusuable disc.

I like how they package the box too...on the back, the warning that some cd-rw drives may have a problem running the game isn't highlighted on the main box, but when you unwrap the game, the inner warning box is highlighted in yellow...interesting marketing technique...

Very disappointed...
