It looks like I'm going to be away for the next few days, so between rl stuff and the beta, I don't think I'm going to be able to get your sig done for a while vCroke.

However if you want to know how I did the cloud effect, simply pick the main colour of your cloud, and either white or black (although white is best). Colour a bit of the main colour on the canvas, then put a little bit of your sub-colour on top. Then get your smudge tool out and scrub erratically until the colours are a bit mixed. After that, smudge in large half circles around the character and flick out at the other side. then just play with it a bit until the smudge looks right.

Then you want to duplicate the cloud and put one over the character's layer, and one behind. You want to erase most of the cloud covering your character, but leave the bottom bit there so it covers the part of your character you're going to erase. Then you just want to smudge that bottom bit up over the character a tiny bit so it looks like they're in the cloud.

Not sure how much that helps, but the sigs you've been doing yourself have been great, so I assume it was more that you want the cloud effect than that you couldn't do a sig. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

You were right, I did want to know how you did the cloud effect :P Your instructions were great, I'm going to try in a bit. I did make one myself, I'm not sure if you saw it before I changed it but I just used a cloud brush and put a layer behind the character and a layer in front of it. Hey Lari what you need to do is go to your Personal zone and then to Profile. In the signature tab you wil place teh URL [img] then click ok. If you don't know what a URL is use google. Google is a wonderful tool [img]http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Apparently we only get it on the third if we have PS+. Those of us without it have to wait until the 8th.

Where you got that info alex? cuz im fairly certain it said something along the lines of it being availbable to the accounts that have ps+ OR have activated uplay trough one of the Ubisoft games (having the hellequin means you have this), and then on the 9th it becomes available to everybody. O_o

It seems that they are still saying PS+ members can access the beta the normal way through PS+ store. While UPLAY members that meet the requirements will have an email sent out to them.

I guess we may not know for sure who all will have access to the beta until Sept. 3 is here...

Unfortunately we only get the plain signature edition in the U.S. which gives us the crusader...GGRRRRR!!!!

I really wanted the Ottoman Jester but I can only hope that they release the rest of the characters later on in a DLC...

I'm not 100% positive about this but about 90% that if you per-order the Collectors Edition or something like that from Gamestop, you get the Ottoman Jester.

Its only Europe and UK yes, i forgot to mention good signature :P, and i'd probably say a skinnier knight :/

You're not going to have many people to play with unless you get 3.0 http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.gif Most of the people on the Xbox side who are active (which is only like 3 of us http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-tongue.gif ) all have 3.0. If you are un aware 3.0 is DLC 3 and it is "The Davinci Disappearence." Unfortunatley, this DLC does cost money but it is only 400 or 800 MSP, which works out as around £7/$10 I think, I don't know currency exchange stuff :P It's worth getting not only so that you can play with us but also because the single player aspect of it is pretty nice (and adds 10 achievements http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/winky.gif ) and you get a few multiplayer game modes and characters. Hopefully you'll get the DLC and get accepted http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

RangerRico, I don't really like it but that's just my preferences. I think that the doctor is too small, maybe you could enlarge it and only show the upper body or something, the background is pretty unclear and you bevelled the main text, which hardly ever looks any good.

However, I thank you for semi-bringing us Artifact Assasult http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif It looks like it is going to be an amazing game type.

Thanks for not lying, but it came out pretty much how I imagined it, and I'm proud since it's my second sig ever. There are flaws though, I'm just to lazy to want to fix them.
I feel kinda douchy claiming credit for Artifact Assault, but if I remember right, I don't think anyone else requested a capture the flag game mode.

Sorry I can't help feel that this was my fault.

You see, yesterday he came online and I invited him to the party and we played some Wanted. Unfortunatley, I hate Wanted and it was one of the most annoying game of my life. Also, I had the chance to play on the ps3 the past couple days and am curious. You guys really are almost vehemently against offensive smoke. What abilities do you typically run on offense? I saw an awful lot of knives/disguise/poison combination of various sorts. Is that the typical? You guys also seem to wall in different places from us 360 folks on some maps. Just curious observations. But I definitely saw about 10x the knives on the ps than on the xbox. ^.^

If they think they can bail when we've made them waste their abilities, they've got another thing coming. ;D

But yeah, usually everyone takes knives when we get together. I take disguise poison against players who actually make an effort on defense, but anyone running away will quite often find a knife or 3 slowing them down... http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_razz.gif

Usually most of us all have the same abilities all around but set up differently. The 4 main sets me and my teammates usually use are Poison/Knives/Firecrackers/Disguise. I find that all 4 of these abilities can be used for great effect by mixing and matching the four. I'll usually start with disguise/poison, then switch to disguise/firecrackers, and then bring knives for the wild runners. I just find it very effective when the whole team is using those sets, but mixed up.

I'm pretty sure it's because there was a moth in my room last night and it could have been sat there most of the night. However it could just have easily been a perv who broke in to lick my feet while I was sleeping.

I know you guys are probably busy and all, and most of you have school and **** so you can't be on here as much as I am, but one of my favourite things about the clan was this clan thread. It was always hideously off-topic, and filled with dangerously high levels of awesome, but it seems to have run out these days.

Sadly not much I could've done atm. I've tried getting clan stuff together all the while, but yeah, busy busy, and with AC:R beta here it's just more of a mess.

As ted said, with people losing interest in AC:B things have been just dying down, but not just a bit, they've died down a frickin' lot! Personally my only hope for an improvement is AC:R being a success and getting people's AC mp vibe on, but we'll have to wait n c for that.

As for the rest of the rejects: whatever the clan is or isn't like depends on every single one of us. We can say it's not like it used to be all we want, but all it needs for it to be like it was is for all of us to step up and make it so.

I can't promise I'll be regularly on AC:B because the upcoming months I'll be really busy, and I can't do much to make people who've lost interest in AC:b like it again. What I can do thou atm is try to keep the forums and BR spirit alive as best I can, but I really need you guys' help in doing that. I'd really hate to see another one of you go so please, all of you do what you can. ^^

This lack of member activity is really taking it's toll on the clan. I guess there's not much hope for getting AC:B activity up at this point, with so many members leaving, but for those of you who still want to be a BR during AC:R, I'm considering to have a temporary multiclan possibility, which means that you're free to join another clan while being a BR if you wish to, but will go back to being only a BR after AC:R's release(naturally, you'd have to inform that other clan about your intentions though).

I agree that the clan is not what it used to be, but I think that instead of leaving just because of that is the lazy way around it. The clan is what the members make it out to be, and if it's not what it used to be, each one of us is to blame for that, and it's up to us to make it what it used to be.

I'm an ordinary member just like all of you guys. Sure, I might be "the leader", but that's something I was asked to be, and I've been trying to make use of the position to influence the way the clan works, and to keep things fun and active. But there's only so much I can do on my own, specially with real life getting in the way.

I'm not gonna lie, the thought of forgetting about AC:B and the clan has crossed my mind, but I have refused to do so, not because I'm "the leader" and feel that I can't, but because I love being part of this clan and hanging with all of you guys, and I want to keep this alive for as long as I can. I suggested that we reopen PS3 recruiting. We could get a bunch of new, great players that would make this clan great again. What I can do is what I've been doing, joined the BR chat as much as possible and participating in matches with other members.

One thing I do notice that might help or it may not matter either way.

I notice that we tend to spam this recruitment thread quite a lot. Doing this is fun and seems harmless, but what if it isn't?

It makes me wounder that maybe we are confusing or making interested new recruits less interested, or confused on what they need to do.

At times I think the Epic (and I do stress Epic) Randomness would suit better on our home forum and leave this thread for recruitment only, or at least keep the Epic-ness to a minimum.

Doing this would liven up our home forum (which needs it) and it would also clean up this thread as well.

It seems to me that most of our previous members have burned themselves out on ACB (ACR will ONLY fix this for a while then we will relapse into this slump of ACB) We could start new threads on our home forum to maybe attract other multiplayer games to our clanmates.

Since I have only been in this gaming world for about 1 year 9 months to be exact (lol) I do not know what other multiplayer games are out there but that is where other's could step in and make it known or collect get together's going.

I do not think we need to close this clan unless it is inevitable then we can merge with other clans.

Anyhow, to answersome questions you guys might have, here are the things we decided with Ari:

-We'll have a new clan thread instead of this one, and it'll be recruitment only. Forum recruitment will reopen when that thread is up.

-Our forums will be where all the chat goes, speaking of which, we really need to bring back the epic random conversations which made the BR thread famous. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif


-To make sure that there's a meaning to being part of the clan, and to encourage people to use the forums and PSN chat, using at least 1 of them somewhat often (not all the time, but do make use of them) will become mandatory for the members. Why? Well if you're not interacting with the clan and it's members then being part of the clan has no real meaning.

People won't be kicked for not playing AC:B as often (or at all? xD), or for being absent for a couple days (or weeks if they have a reason), but if we feel they're behaving more like outsiders than members (by this, I mean not even keeping in touch with the clan), we'll warn them about their inactivity, and if it keeps up they'll be removed.

-We'll clean the current members list, removing people we haven't heard from for quite a while and we feel don't really belong to the clan.

-After thinking things over, we decided that the current Xbox branch will be removed, sadly. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

We really appreciate your help in trying to rebuild the branch Chris, and you've done a great job, but at this point, you and iCrokeyy are the only ones in the Xbox branch that actually use this thread, let alone the BR forums. Due to this, even thou the Xbox branch has a couple members, and you guys probably play together, the branch itself has no connection to the ps3 branch, making them more like 2 separate clans under the same name than a single clan with 2 branches.

We intend to reestablish the Xbox branch, ensuring that the members who join keep in touch with the ps3 branch, and any current member will be more than welcome to rejoin it when we start recruiting if they wish to do so.

-Widom raised a good point about other multiplayers. Even thou we are an AC mp based clan, it doesn't hurt if we venture into other multiplayers with our fellow clan members. Thus, we'll add a new category on the BR forums for non-AC games, listing the other multiplayers our members play with, each with it's own thread. However, we won't go recruiting for members on other MP's, at least not for the time being.

In regards to the tournaments, I've tried hosting many things for members to participate in, such as a 1v1 tournament, an Alliance tournament and, at some point, I was hosting weekly challenges ... but nobody really took much interest in it and they never took off. I would need to find out who's interested in doing a tournament and for what mode(s), or if you'd want me to bring back weekly challenges.

So, <span class="ev_code_PURPLE">who wants a tournament/weekly challenges brought back?</span> If you don't remember/never took part in the challenges, and want to remind yourself/know more then here:

Challenges were set weekly for a Reject to perform. The first challenge ever set was "most stuns in one week" and the Reject wit the most stuns would win. Challenges were supposed to get harder weekly but, with a lack of interest, quickly died out. Would you like these to come back? A few months ago alex hosted an alliance tournament, we got the teams and everything, and the whole thing turned out to be a disaster until after a while he just completely ignored it and everyone forgot about it. When I asked him about it and he told me it was never going to happen, he said I could try asking Nitrox to host an alliance tournament for the clan. I think it would be a great way to get people motivated to play as the last month of Brotherhood slowly comes to an end.
