Internet Connection

I've tried the search feature, but I must not be typing the right keywords.

My question is... Do I need an internet connection in order to play this game? I really enjoyed III, and IV and was planning on purchasing V, when I realized that it probably uses some sort of copy protection. I will only have the internet until the end of the month so I need to know before I purchase the game.

For Heroes V, you only need an internet connection for online play or downloading the patches.
The game doesn't have a copy protection that needs to use the web to verify the game, if that's what you were worried about.
