Well, I just finished another work out attempt with the game after having bought it a week ago and I want my money back.
I don't agree with having to be so incredibly fussy with my work out gear, I'm trying to wear the lightest bottoms to stand out from my furniture and the darkest tops to stand out from the window and most of my yoga gear is the exact opposite http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif. Also with how my room layout is I workout in front of patio doors with ruins the picture of my workout, and we all n=know this leads to constant scolding to move legs/arms that are already flapping like crazy.
I don't think that I should have to buy new clothes, nothing wrong with the many yoga pants and t-shirts I now own, or get new drapes to replace the white ones I have now all to accommodate this work out game.
Last, and a biggie, the camera delay throws me off.... I'm trying to match my real time movements to that of Jenny-talk to much-McCarthy but it's crazy on the motor skills when what you do isn't what's showing up that second on the t.v. The concept that I can improve my work out by seeing if my arms and leg movement matches my trainer is why I bought the game and now it's the most frustrating part because of the delay.
I called the store where I bought it and they said no refunds on open games, will Wii give me my money back?

I don't listen to most of what the instructor tells me if i know I'm doing it right. I'm in it for the workout without going to a gym, where, you pay monthly and have to work a generic workout from some person half your age and size who you know is laughing at you...lol....in the end, your getting a great workout for a fraction of the cost of going to classes.
I've been doing this for 3 weeks now, i alternate between an elliptical and the wii. I'm looking forward to what they come up with next. I think its the greatest thing, bugs and all.......

It's a rip off though...... if what's being suggested is not listening to the instructor then why did I pay $85.00 after taxes for that? Why wouldn't I then buy another game for a small fraction of that price? My issue is the hype that if I buy this game for more money I have the added bonus of a camera & technology which can improve my work outs by making sure I have correct form. This was supposed to be a huge advantage and when it doesn't work because of camera delays, clothing and windows those are more then just bugs.

I agree that this system is a waste of money. The camera simply doesn't work; I have even taken the game back to the store, thinking mine was defective. The second one is the same as the first. I would welcome the opportunity to try other WII workout products; without a camera. I don't appreciate the annoying instructor telling me to "watch my arms" constantly when I am moving my arms exactly as they show. The product also takes way to many breaks and tells me go "go get your step" when I just used it two minutes ago so obviously it is right in front of me. I would welcome a refund to use toward the purchase of a different WII workout system.

I agree with you! It's very frustrating when she never stops saying "Watch you arms/legs", when you know you are doing it correctly. All this because the F@%?@%@ camera can't see you correctly because your clothes is a similar colour as the wall or because the light is not perfect in your living room!

I also agree with everyone else. This game is crap. And it is so unfair to the consumer that you cannot return these games to the store. The lady is annoying, the video continues to tell me I am doing my arms wrong even though I am not,,,,It says there are more then 400 exercises yet we cannot see nor pick them and get stuck with the same crappy rotation the game picks and that CODE .......there is no mention of how to obtain it anywhere. Has ANYONE been successful getting a refund yet? PLEASE...let me know! I am about to file a complaint after reading this board as it's just not fair.

um .. when Jenny says to watch your arms, it's most times because you are not doing it correctly, maybe not high enough etc.. I keep trying to figure out what I'm doing wrong instead of blaming the game and most times end up finding what ''I'' was doing wrong.
I think that what would make the game better is if she would do more coaching, that way we could know right away.
So, instead of getting frustrated with Jenny, try and change your position a little, maybe your arms are a little to high or not high enough etc.. and this is all important when exercising. It's important to be in the correct position.
I'm not saying there are not glitches, but barely.

I can assure you, I WAS moving my arms and correctly. The issue is the camera had difficulty registering my movement because I blended into the background which IS a flaw in the game.
I am perfectly capable of doing proper jumping jacks in my current physique, thank you very much.

I had trouble also and found out that on certain moves if i change where I'm standing it will pick it up better. When it calls for the shuffle, i move closer, jumping jacks i move back, grapevine i move closer, jogging in place i move back, etc etc....I don't move much, maybe a foot. The room i workout in is surrounded by big windows, so my workout area is challenging. When i commented earlier in this thread, i was just happy to get a good workout. Now, i want to keep my score high and like any video game, there are tricks and the trick in this one is where your standing..Sure, maybe it isn't magic and if they can put a man on the moon why cant they make a workout program perfect, I'm still happy I'm getting a good workout bugs or no bugs..
