Yes, I realize I spelled Kesselschlacht wrong when naming the map but OH WELL!
This map is not part of the Deadly Cargo series.
I wanted to see something take place on the war-torn streets of London during the relentless Blitzkrieg raids by the Nazis. Kesselschlact (German for "kettle battle") is set in such a place.
The layout is symmetrical in design but not aesthetics. The two bases, though similar in construction look vastly different as one is being built while the other one is nearly destroyed.
You will also find original brush use in the form of bombed out buildings that were hit dead on by overhead onslaught of the Nazi's.
Most of the surrounding buildings that enclose the city cannot be entered and the majority of the buildings throughout the middle of town are also blocked aside from a few select and strategically placed ones. Look for the blue doors.
This is the type of map that once you get the feel and know the layout and multiple ways and areas you can use you will appreciate its design and gameplay.
This is a team-oriented map that supports all team based modes (no DM, obviously) and though the roads are wide enough for vehicles it is not a vehicle-based map. Also do not be detered by some of the more open areas as this is not a sniper-friendly map either, there are many ways you can duck out of the line of fire and transverse from one end to the other unnoticed. As with most of my maps the center is the quickest and most dealiest way while other paths are less dangerous.
Lastly though there is a swatzstika on the face of one of the buildings it is simply for looks and to set the tone of the map, I am in no way condoning any affinity towards Nazism.
I hope you enjoy it.
Here are some screens:
APR BASE - Bombed out but still functional via beams and scaffolding this serves as the last allied compund in the city. In the base are mounted M-2 (bottom) and M-19 (top) as well as a capture point, diamond case, and explosive objects.

APR BASE CHECKPOINT - Though each base has 3 routes to it the center one (quickest and most deadly) has an explosive checkpoint. The exploding barrels are out-of-view from an attackers side so would-be invaders won't be as suspecting. Igniting a barrel at the right time is easily enough to take out a truck.

UFLL BASE - A still-under-construction allied base that has been overrun by the invading Nazi force. The weapons, their placement, and all objectives mirror the APR layout. Both bases have adjacent colonial buildings behind them which you can go to the roof and access the upper levels in case using the stairs/ladders inside the bases are to heavy with gunfire.

CENTER CAPTURE POINT - The 3rd capture point rests inside a bomb crater and is surrounded by 3 M-2 .50 cal bunkers. Each bunker has an explosive barrel next to them to take out anyone trying to camp on the turrets. Also the crater has 2 sets of double colonial buildings with the blue doors do you can have multiple vantage points over the capture area. Off to the left on both sides their is another colonial building with ammo crates whose balconies can be used as sniping perches.

LARGE BOMBED BUILDINGS - There is one near each base stocked with an M-249 turret, ammo crate, and scaffolding for quick escape. (first pic is APR, second is UFLL)
