I am proud to announce that the video section of our website has just gone up. Our first three videos are now availible for public viewing. These were my first attempts at video editing, but I think they turned out ok.

Go to the following link:
First Responders (http://www.frstresponders.com/home.html)
Click on "Video"
It opens in a small window and can only be enlarged by right clicking on it.

I originally started doing this after watching the Suicidal Mofos and they deserve some credit. I am currently finishing up an outtakes video (much like the Suicidal Mofos), and starting work on a Splinter Cell Video along with some other projects. Thanks to all who participated. If anyone wishes to participate, please drop me a line in our forums on our website. Any feedback would be appreciated as long as it is constructive! Thanks!

No, they didn't, Rainbow 6 is still a good series, but I'm sorry you are not getting anymore enjoyment out of it.

I spy, with my little eye, something beginning with Studio 9 http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

To be honest, didn't really watch them. They were too small for me to really focus on, I like big full screen stuff etc. Also, if you want to record a lot of 3rd person stuff, turn the HUD off, it looks smarter. i have only just started doing that and it can add a lot to the video.

I have some vids at http://www.test.everyday-essentials.co.uk/

Training Day is the rainbow six film. I have improved in quality of cutting since then I think. I must get my Rainbow Six: Reloaded video online http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

As I stated, these were my first few attempts. Give me a little credit, even the Suicidal Mofos videos didn't look all that hot when they first started making them and now look at them!

You are correct about Studio 9, it's an easy program for a newbie like me to use.

Rolla gave me some info and I will make the next ones much larger (although you couldv'e enlarged it to full screen) and turn off the HUD. Thanks for the advice though.

I have found a new format to make these videos clearer and in a much larger window. I have also received some advice from Rolla4Life2171 (of the Suicidal Mofos) on how to make these videos even better. I will be releasing the new videos in the improved format very shortly and my next video will be much better, I assure you. Thanks for all the comments, even the harsh ones, it made me realize the mistakes I was making.

Good work Medic.

I wasn't having a dig or anything, just adding something constructive to try and assist for future projects. My first videos were pretty poor (some would probably say the newer ones are too http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif). I just didn't really watch them because I was put off the size. Size matters!!! I couldn't get them to enlarge. I tried your suggestion but it wasn't working for me.

Studio 9 is not just for newbs. I use it too (I am also a newb) and when you get down to it, if you are willing to spend on plug ins, there is some very professional stuff in it. The editing facility is great and the disc menus and layouts and options are very good.
