How exactly do you make noseart for the game.I don't mean like from scratch, but rather, how do you take a picture and turn it into in-game nose art.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Here's one way of doing it!

From Photo to Nose Art (http://www.flightsimguides.com/readarticle.php?article_id=9)

This was done using GIMP, but the same principles apply if using PSP or Photoshop. I was thinking about making a Pt.2 to this tutorial as I've come across a couple other helpful tips during my B-17 project. (Mainly blending a 'color' layer with the raw B&W layer to perform shading and coloring without having to break the different colored parts into separate layers.)

It's still relevant. After following the steps in the tutorial, just save it as a 256x512 256-color bitmap. Add a background layer of just about any color you want. The top half of the bitmap will appear on the left side of the airplane and the lower half on the right side.
